The Advantages of ATAA Educational Complexes
ATAA Educational Company strives to create a unique, attractive and stimulative learning environment that provides all the necessary capabilities to enrich the knowledge of its students by organizing many activities and events, which contribute to building the student’s personality and enriching him scientifically and culturally on a personal and social basis, as the company’s schools organize various programs designed to provide an enrichment scientific material for those wishing to learn more in one of the scientific aspects or develop certain skills. The company, along with the weekly classes specialized for training students on aptitude and achievement tests, provides specialized training programs in these two tests that are carried out after school hours.
The Company not only interests in the educational aspect of its students, but also it is keen to provide a learning environment, which contributes to build the student's personality and its other aspects skills, as the company organizes training programs in swimming, equestrian and other evening sports activities. It also organizes from time to time life skills training programs such as leadership, speaking, dialogue, social communication and creative thinking.
Educational Cadres
The company is keen to improve the educational aspect of its teachers, as it adopts a selective policy to select the most capable competencies of contributing for achieving the company's vision and mission. The educational Cadres of ATAA Educational Company’s schools includes about 257 male and female teachers of master’s and doctoral degree holders. Some of them have a doctorate and a master’s degree, and the others have passed the executive year of master’s studies. The educational cadres also include teachers with more than twenty years of experience in the field of education.
The company, besides its keenness to attract distinctive competencies, makes its best to develop the professional aspect of its educational cadres, as well as providing them with every support and assistance. It also holds training courses and workshops periodically, which are designed in accordance with the functional requirements of the company and the individual needs of its educational cadres.
The Company has formed its own supervisory committee, which is concerned with technical supervision of the educational cadres and ensuring the implementation of the company's strategies within schools, as the main tasks of such committee are: evaluating the performance of male and female teachers using various evaluation methods, including, for example, continuous visits to schools and holding standardized annual tests for all students of affiliated private schools within the framework of the assessing program for educational efficiency among students to ensure the teachers` proficiency in communicating the correct information. The company uses the results of such tests to develop its educational services in general and to identify deficiencies (if any) to address them in a timely and correct manner, as these efforts had a significant impact on improving the performance of male and female students in the aptitude and achievement tests of the National Center for Assessment, according to the classification of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission during last years.
Transportation Services
In order to provide an integrated services and the all means of comfort to its clients of male and female students and their parents, the Company provides transportation services for male and female students to and from schools with specific annual fees in all of its educational complexes, as the company and its affiliated complexes have a fleet of more than two hundred (200) buses dedicated to transporting the students to and from educational complexes.

The company is particularly concerned with the quality of its schools’ facilities and the efficiency of its educational cadres in terms of education. Furthermore, it is organizing many activities and events, which contribute to building the student’s personality and enriching him scientifically and culturally on a personal and social basis. The following is a brief description of the learning environment within the ATAA educational complexes.
School Facilities
School facilities are considered one of the affecting criteria of the joining reasons of male and female students to the company’s schools. The Company pays particular attention to such aspect to provide an appropriate learning environment that elevates to the level of provided quality of educational services, as the school facilities of the company’s complexes are equipped with the latest hardware and software devices and technologies to support educational performance. The Company carries out continuous periodic maintenance and improvements to maintain its buildings and facilities; along with its eagerness to comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and relevant government agencies with regard to the safety and quality of facilities. All educational complexes of the company shall, minimally, include the following facilities:
Classroom:
All classrooms are equipped with the latest modern technologies, such as computers with its accessories, a projector, and smart boards that encourage interactive learning in the classroom. Some classrooms shall also be equipped with an interactive projector.
Cafeterias and Canteens
Periodic supervisions will be made on school’s cafeterias and canteens in order to ensure their compliance with hygiene and health requirements, as well as the company usually contracts with third parties to operate its cafeterias and canteens.
Theaters
Schools have multi-purpose theaters equipped with the most important technologies that serve the entire complex.
Laboratories
The scientific laboratories of the schools are equipped with all the necessary equipment, tools and materials a suitable for the practical application of the lessons of curriculum provided to the students and teachers.
Computer Labs
The company's complexes have computer labs, which are fully equipped with modern systems. Moreover, some of the company's complexes contain special language laboratories.
Squares and Play Arenas
The Company's schools have both indoor and outdoor squares and play arenas where students spend their time outside of the classroom, in which some extracurricular activities are organized from time to time.

Science Clubs
The Company pays great attention to the scientific research and innovations, as well as it strives to prepare a generation of students who are able to innovate and deal with technology in order to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Company has taken the lead in such a field, as it opened the first school science club in the Riyadh region in 1420 AH (corresponding to 1999 AD) that aimed at sponsoring students in various fields of science, as well as giving them the required training programs in scientific research and developing their ideas to turn them into scientific innovations with a focus on preparing students to participate in Competitions and scientific activities at the level of the Ministry and other educational facilities. Science clubs will contain five different sections:
In order to develop its science clubs, the company has begun to adopt Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curricula, which is a philosophy of learning based on the integration of science, information technology, engineering and mathematics, as it based on problem-based learning with the use of creative methods to solve such problems, besides providing scientific experiments focused on linking education to daily life, as the company has created a special section for STEM curricula in some educational complexes, equipped with the necessary tools and materials.
The Scientific Club organizes a number of science courses, such as the electronics and robotics course, the chemical industries course, the astronomy course, and the animal anatomy and taxidermy course. The Scientific Club of Al-Rowad Private Schools achieved the first place as the best scientific club in the Riyadh region for the years 1421 AH - 1430 AH, consecutively.
Other facilities
Some of the company’s schools have additional facilities other than what was mentioned above, such as gymnasiums in the boys’ section, professional workshops, talent rooms, the Arabic language center, and reading libraries in the complexes, which provide memorization and education Sciences of the Qur'an.

It is worth mentioning that the Company organizes summer clubs, during the summer, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, which include various scientific, cultural and sports programs, by which it seeks to combine entertainment and invest the time of male and female students. These summer programs target male and female students from inside and outside the company's schools. Over the past years, some of the affiliated summer clubs of company’s schools have obtained an excellent rating from the Ministry of Education compared to other clubs in the region. As well as it won the second place for the best illustrated media report for seasonal clubs, which reflects the quality of these programs and their positive role in investing the younger generation.
