Based on College Board’s recent decision to cancel SAT II tests ( SAT Subject Tests ) , Middle East International School has decided to start teaching AP (Advanced Placement ) curriculum for the American program in the school starting from the upcoming academic year 2021/2022.
AP is offered by College Board, and it is a school curriculum followed by AP exams. AP exams are internationally recognized high school exams for American programs; moreover, for many colleges and universities a high score will earn the student college credit.
AP offers exams in 38 different subjects that qualify students to join universities in various fields of study: medical, engineering, technology, science, and humanities. Such as:
Calculus, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition.
We would like to assure you that our teachers are qualified to make the necessary shift to the AP curriculum effectively and smoothly to sustain the high quality of learning standards that we offer at MEIS, which will enable our students to excel in the AP exams in the future.
